GRP Structural Profiles
A cost effective, alternative to steel, aluminium and timber, DeckSafe’s pultruded GRP Structural Profiles offer excellent corrosion resistance and durability. GRP Profiles are used in many industrial applications including riser flooring, access platform walkways, pedestrian bridges, steps & walkways, worker access to machinery, manufacturing plants, water treatment works, offshore wind & oil facilities and many railway trackside and depot applications.
Lightweight fibreglass does not require heavy lifting equipment making it easier and cheaper to transport and install. Pultruded composite profiles are high impact tolerant, chemical resistant, lightweight and fire-resistant with low electrical & thermal conductivity.
Our GRP profiles with a wall thickness of more than 5mm are high-performance E23 grade, while those at 3-5mm are E17 grade. Profiles are manufactured from a glass-reinforced isophthalic polyester resin with a smooth, weather-proof surface that never needs painting. Supplied in 6m lengths as standard, they are easy to cut and don’t require a hot works permit to do so.
We hold all the essential types and sizes in stock but are happy to source your specific requirements.

Versatile Profiles
Our profiles sit at the heart of all our industry solutions, providing a strong framework for GRP staircases, platforms and walkways. Easier to handle than steel, it is unaffected by extremes of weather and impervious to water damage so won’t corrode – even in saltwater environments. We can also supply profiles in different colours and wood effects to help it blend with your environment. Take a look at the work we did in Abu Dhabi
