Our GRP Marine industry solutions offer a long-lasting, rust and rot-proof alternative to traditional timber and steel fabrications.
Our Anti-Slip GRP Grating is designed specifically for areas that become hazardous when wet or oily, including floating pontoons, jetties, tidal brows, access bridges, gangways and more. Since their release, our technically advanced QuartzGrip™ GRP Gratings – Standard Mesh, Mini Mesh and Micro Mesh – have been installed successfully in both coastal and in-land environments, including new-build and refurbishment projects throughout the UK. For the complete solution, GRP Structural Profiles can replace rotten or corroded timber or metal versions quickly and easily.
We have tested all our marina decking against BS 7976-2 standards. Its gritted, non-slip surface provides exceptional traction and is proven to deliver effective slip-resistance. The grit-covered surface is also resistant to moss and algae to ensure a low-maintenance finish, unlike wood which requires regular cleaning and repair work.
If you are unable to replace wooden surfaces, our marina Decking Strips help to ensure a safe environment for customers, employees and the public. They are easy to install and cut to the required size on-site, so you can create an anti-slip surface in a matter of hours.
Mobile Platforms
Mobile work platforms can be built to any size so are ideal for providing flexible cleaning or maintenance access to vessels of all sizes. Locking mechanisms ensure they stay put while in use, and the chunky wheels are suitable for use on uneven or gravel surfaces. Thick rubber bumpers prevent accidental damage too.
Ideal for use in marinas, access platforms can be loaned or rented as required to those working on their own boats.
Marina Decking
Providing an anti-slip waterside walkway is essential for reducing unnecessary slips while accessing boats of all sizes. In poor weather, pontoon decking can be of huge benefit, as well as when the vessel is moving and the ground is wet.
